On the contrary, great king, with one Name-and Form Kamma is wrought, a man does good or evil deeds, and by the power of this Kamma another Name-and-Form is reborn.” “If, Reverend Sir, it is not this same Name-and-Form that is reborn, surely the man must be released from his evil deeds.” Said the Elder: “If he were not reborn, he would be released from his evil deeds; but since, great king, he is reborn, therefore he is not released from his evil deeds.” “Give me an illustration.”
it sounds like fearful eye-for-eye karma but it’s not: what is reborn is eternal what is eternal is unchanging and therefore cannot be changed/affected by eye-for-eye tit-for-tat give-and-take karma …
kananji as usual has the best wisdom offering anandi food at wake …: the point is that–unlike gauri living in the past and in the future fearing of ghostly revenge–kananji counsels living in the present just make sure that “you’re ok/well; i’m ok/well” “muôn loài được bình thường sống lâu; everyone live well and long” in the present moment …[e.g. instead of scattering ashes to appease mother of anandi spirit, gauri just have to make sure anandi is well or what is better help anandi fulfills anandi’s mother’s wishes which wishes’ unfulfilment caused passing away of mother of anandi so fulfilling the wishes would have the same effect as bringing/returning anandi’s mother back to life: people cannnot exact revenge when people cannot see/hear/say any evil …. and people “have eyes/ears/mouth but as though could only see/hear/say good/goodness/godness/godliness/god” because “you’re ok/well; i’m ok/well” “muôn loài được bình thường sống lâu; everyone live well and long” … so just make sure in the present [which will then extend by biblical “in the image” to past and future to all times] “you’re ok/well; i’m ok/well” “muôn loài được bình thường sống lâu; everyone live well and long”…
Siddhartha and the Swan
Many stories are told of the childhood of the Lord Buddha, who was then known as Siddhartha.
In this story, the young prince befriends a swan, which is then shot by his cousin. In the end, Siddhartha helps his cousin learn about kindness to animals. The story has been retold by authors who are familiar with both Buddhist tradition and also with Western culture.

Halva
